Attention Whore

The other day my roommate told me about seeing a guy riding a unicycle on campus. "Ok," I thought, "Someone is obviously trying to get attention."

Well ladies & gents, I have seen this famed man & his unicycle. Not once, but twice today. And I still think he's just trying to get attention because seriously, who the hell rides a fucking unicycle as their primary mode of transportation. Especially on a road with as many hills as mine.

Now that I am aware of his existence I'm thinking about turning his sightings into a game I play with myself (one is the loneliest number, after all).

On another note, I got a call-back for my next interview at Caribou for tomorrow. Holla atcha boi!

Yeah for the interview!!! BOO for the unicycle-guy. Sounds just a little too odd for me....I mean, how comfortable can a unicycle be, anyway? Definitely trying to get attention, but look-It's working!
Found out my schedule has changed for Friday, so I have to cancel our tentative plans for some alternative Mexican. :( I'll let you know next time I'll be in your big ol' metropolis and we'll try out that new place!!

Meanwhile, watch out for clowns. That'll be next....

I freaking hate clowns. And mimes. Omg.

Just keep me updated about everything.

And yeah, I hate that I'm basically giving that guy what he wants. But I really, really am irritated by it.

I'm such a curmudgeon.

Haha...umm...I was in a unicycle club back in HS. My friends were exactly the type of nerdy people who loved the idea of unicycling. We would meet after school on Fridays and unicycle around the parking lot. It's actually GREAT exercise because they are so hard to ride. Takes a lot of balance, which I don't have so I was never any good at it. But your post still made me laugh- if I was not in the group I probably would have thought it was crazy! :]

Ha! Well, I will admit that it does take a lot of skill & talent & for that I will give him props. But otherwise? To go from here to there? Attention whore.

At least your friends were good at it. You could claim to be good at it by proxy.

Haha, maybe I will. I did see a guy unicycling down a sidewalk by the Mall of GA a couple days ago. I guess it's bigger than I thought...I think it would just be easier to ride a bike.

You should be a unicycleing barista.

That would just be too much. I have a hard enough time walking through doors that don't have doorways without falling.

Though I'm surprisingly good at things like balance beams. Hmmmmm.....
